Our Story
Medical Street was founded in Kampala, Uganda in 2017 by a small interdisciplinary team led by biomedical engineer Faisal Waiswa, with a conviction that healthcare in Africa does not need another isolated app — it needs connected infrastructure. What began as a medical supply and e-commerce platform has grown into a full health technology ecosystem: Haya intelligence, marketplace commerce, provider and supplier platforms, LifeCare Credits financing and insurance connectivity.
